Three Types of Cultural Interaction

1. Segregation=cultures remain separate and distinct

2. Assimilation=one group of people loose their culture/way of life and adopt the culture of another group (usually the dominant group)

3. Integration=two or more cultures blend together and adopt aspects of each other creating a new hybrid culture.
