I am in the process of making arrangements for my Presidents Tour for 2018 to the Costa Del Sol and write to you as someone that has indicated you are interested in supporting my tour.

The arrangements are that we will be staying in Torremolinos at the Hotel Sol Principe. The recently refurbished hotel enjoys a wonderful beachfront location overlooking Playamar Beach Torremolinos. The hotel’s stand-out feature is its vast 1500 square metre lagoon -style outdoor pool, surrounded by sun lounging areas benefitting most attractively from the shade of tall mature palm trees. Other noteworthy features are its highly spacious public areas, its sea view buffet restaurant terrace, enabling meals to be taken “Al Fresco”, its entertainments bar and its heated indoor pool. A good selection of bars, restaurants and shops are located with a few minutes stroll from the hotel, which also enjoys direct access out onto the seafront promenade.

INCLUDED IN THE COST OF THE HOLIDAY

 Return flights from Gatwick to Malaga.  All airport taxes.  Transfers airport/hotel/airport in resort.  Hotel porterage.  Welcome & farewell drinks receptions.  7 nights half board accommodation with wine at dinner.  4 bowls matches (including all transportation & green fees).  2 half day excursions (Mijas, plus one other to be arranged).  The assistance of a Personal Touch Holidays resort manager throughout your stay.

You make your own arrangements to get to Gatwick Airport. (3) EXCURSION PROGRAMME

Included in the price will be 2 half day excursions to local places of interest which will be combined with two of the bowls matches. One of these half days will be spent in the enchanting, picture-postcard, and traditionally Andalusian hill town of Mijas and the other in Marbella. The elegant resort of Marbella is renowned as the playground for the rich and famous. The historic part of the town sits on a beautiful bay, sheltering lovely corners of a typically Andalusian flavour with whitewash houses and orange trees adorning the streets and squares.

For passengers wishing extra leg room, this can be requested but as is always an extra cost will apply, however, as a guide, airlines are currently charging £40 per person return for their extra leg room seats. This is subject to change at the time of booking but gives you an idea of the sort of price you would be looking at.

In relation to the bowling bags (extra cost is likely to be £50.00 per passenger return, this will depend on the airline, so it may go up or down) you can add the bowls bag fee to the final payment but I do need to know in advance who will be taking them, most couples double up with their bowls bags, bowls can’t be carried in hand luggage they must go in the hold of the aircraft. Ordinary luggage per person is 20kg only.

Details of matches will be requested with the Spanish Association when we know numbers.

Please Note: I have been advised to ensure that all your passports are valid and in date, and that your passport has at least 6 months remaining before it expires on the day we travel to Spain.

The cost of the tour will be £719.00 per person, this is inclusive of VAT for 7 days, if booked by the 30 th November 2017. After this date the cost may increase.

SUPPLEMENTS (per person)

3 extra nights on the same board basis: £169 Side sea view room (twins): £45 (7 nights), £65 (10 nights) Single room: No single supplement (limited number of rooms) Non-Bowlers discount per person: £30.00 If you are interested in supporting the tour for 2018, I would be grateful if you could fill in the attached form and return it to me. A deposit of £150 per person should be sent with the form to secure your place.

All members of the Surrey County Bowling Association touring party for 2018 to Torremolinos will be responsible for making their own arrangements for personal insurance requirements.

The President of the Surrey County Bowling Association 2018 and the Surrey County Bowling Association will not be held responsible for any personal loss or injury.
