The supplier is a “committed “or a “managed” supplier. This means that the supplier has expressed that they prefer the Ariba network as their e-commerce channel or they have a managed relationship with the Ariba team. The supplier already supports catalogs. This means more value for us as well as the supplier. Accurate product information and pricing yields efficiencies in both the procurement process as well as the invoice-reconciliation process
