Find books about your topic by doing a KEYWORD or SUBJECT search on the Senior High School Library catalog (HS OPAC – on the desk top). Look for books from the Opposing Viewpoints Series, the At Issues Series, the Contemporary Issues Series, the Current Controversies Series, etc. If you can’t find what you need in our catalog, follow the inter-library loan procedure by clicking on the Other Libraries link on the HS Library webpage, then searching the FiveSystems or WorldCat. When you find an item you would like to borrow, print the page and give it to Mrs. D’Onofrio or to Mrs. Bishopp. The book will be ordered for you ASAP. NOTE: Sometimes it can take a week or more to receive the book. Make your ILL requests as early as possible! Articles in Subscription Databases:
To access these, click on the “Databases” button on the HS Library web page. Log in to the page with the passwords given on your orange handout “Livonia High School Resources – ‘Hot Sheet’ 2009-10”.
