EXCURSION PERMISSION

At certain times during the year the children the staff encourage children and parents to join us on short excursions around the community or local park. Staff will always send our written permission forms to parents at least one week in advance stating the i) the date of the excursion ii) the proposed destination iii) the method of transport or walking itinerary iv) the activities to be carried out during the excursion v) the number of adults to accompany and supervise the excursion vi) the name of the person with first aid qualifications who will accompany the children vii) the proposed period of time during which the excursion is to take place viii) if practicable, an emergency contact number for the excursion At least 48 hours notice of the excursion will be given to the parents / guardians, with an itinerary that includes contingency arrangements for weather etc. and contact phone numbers. Longer notice will be given wherever possible. 3 - 4 weeks notice will be given for excursions over $10.00. Please indicate below if you are interested in receiving excursion information and authorisation forms when excursions are held.
