Senior Wireless Network Engineer We are looking for a Senior Wireless Network Engineer that can serve as a Lead Engineer with the survey, design, engineering, implementation and integration of enterprise level Wireless Local Area Networks (WLAN) for Federal customers nationwide. This engineer will be tasked with the design, implementation, and integration of scalable, secure WLAN solutions, conducting detailed site surveys and developing engineering design plans. Duties will also include the design and implementation of both active and passive RFID solutions. Candidate must be fluent in Microsoft Office and capable of developing site survey, installation, configuration and testing related engineering documentation.

These positions will require the Frequent Travel (30-40%). Geographical location of the candidate is not a factor as this position will entail a combination of travel and working out of a Home Office.

Required Experience/ Knowledge  Experience with both wireless and wired network technologies, design, implementation and integration.  Experience with the design, implementation and integration of a Wireless Infrastructure utilizing Cisco and Aruba WLAN controllers and access points Experience with testing and evaluating network systems to eliminate problems and implement improvements.  Knowledge of all 802.11 (a,b,g,n) wireless networking, 802.1x, 802.11i, EAP, TTLS, TKIP, Radius, and radio frequency communication principals, including related wireless LAN technologies in the areas of site surveying, design, installation, management, security, analysis, troubleshooting, and integration with wired networks.  Understanding of DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, SNMP, OSI Model, VOIP and the configuration and maintenance of various services.  Detailed knowledge of the inter-workings of IEEE 802.11 standards, FIPS 140-2 requirements as well as a solid understanding of the security weaknesses and threats to wireless LANs and implementing wireless LAN security solutions.  Familiar with Intrusion Detection / Protection services, WLAN intrusion detection, performance analysis, and knowledge of the inter-workings of IEEE 802.11 standards, FIPS 140-2 requirements as well as a solid understanding of the security weaknesses and threats to wireless LANs and implementing wireless LAN security solutions.  Experience with the use of the AirMagnet, Wi-Fi Planning, Site Survey, and Spectrum Analysis  100% proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)  Excellent Customer interface skills  Excellent written and verbal communications skills

Preferred Experience/ Knowledge:  Very strong Airwave management platform (AMP) expertise and experience.  Experience with Aruba wireless LAN controllers, Airwave, Clearpass and Amigo Products Access points and/or Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers  Applicable Aruba certifications (Airwave)  Strong skills with Server 2003/2008, XP, Windows7, Active Directory, RADIUS, and TCP/IP networking.  Experience implementing, automating and document Airwave (AMP) system security hardening best practices for least access and intrusion denial  Ability to provide Airwave system administration subject matter expertise.  Excellent Customer interface skills  Excellent written and verbal communications skills  Knowledge of RFID protocols, reader architecture and design (software and hardware), middleware, or other software systems that interface RFID reader devices.  Experience with design, configuration, and implementation of CenTrak and Motorola RFID equipment a plus.

Education and Experience Required:  Requires Bachelor's degree in BSEE/BSCS/IT or technical discipline or equivalent relevant experience.  Requires minimum 10 years experience with the design, implementation, and integration of scalable, secure WLAN/LAN solutions

Desired Certifications  Aruba certifications: ACMP, ACMX, ACDX ACSP, ACMA, ACMP, ACCP  AirMagnet Certified  Cisco certifications: CCNA Wireless, CCNP Wireless, CCIE Wireless  CWNA/CWSP/CWNE certifications  Security +  FIPS experience

Clearance Requirement: Secret or the ability to be granted and maintain this level of DoD/DOJ clearance. MBI or the ability to be granted and maintain this level of VA clearance.
