MEMBERS DRAW Round 22- $50.00 Went to a Regular, Peter Coutts

SWANS v GEELONG – a solid first half, but a half, does not make a win. Great game performances by Shane Mumford and Ted Richards. The road ahead will not be easy, but on our day, we can beat anyone, positivity and belief the main ingredients.

SWANS v ADELAIDE – wow, wow, wow!! How good did they play, a great team effort with so many outstanding performances eg Ryan O’Keefe, Ted Richards ,Dan Hannebery, and Adam Goodes to name just a few. A enthusiastic crowd met at the Rye Hotel and in the absence of our choirmaster “Billy”, Pam Gray ably took the chair with her vocal offsiders Jason and Campbell Hill in fine voice with the rendition of the Swans theme song which lifted the roof.

FOOTY TIPPING CORNER - Final scores and congratulations to the winners. It was a hard call to make selections at the start of the season, a trip into the unknown, and then throughout the season to find some surprises in form and teams that you would not have expected to go as well, or as poorly, as they did. A big thank you goes to all who supported the SOMS by their participation.

CONGRATULATIONS also to Brett Kirk on his appointment to the coaching panel of the Freemantle Dockers – a role that should suit him well, better than being the uncomfortable boundary rider for Channel 7.
