About Us: 4T’s – Teaching Teens to Think is a 501c3 NYC nonprofit that helps inner-city youth aged 16-24 finish their education and make a career plan. Our vision is to end the school-to- prison pipeline by re-engaging students in their education. Learn more at 4ts.org

Job Description: Bloggers will write one blog post per week on topics related to education, entrepreneurship, and general issues related to inner city youth (e.g. food insecurity/ financial struggles/ emotional, mental, or physical health). All articles are tailored to issues within inner- city communities. Bloggers’ articles should sound conversational, and ideally sound personal to them. Bloggers will share their articles on their personal Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter accounts each week. If you share it on Instagram, we’ll love you forever!

Bloggers will also manage the comments section of the blog by deleting spam comments and responding to comments that their articles generate. The blogger will also respond to comments their articles generate on LinkedIn discussion boards (this is in collaboration with the Marketing Assistant).

This is a work-from-home position. You will meet with the president once a week via conference call, and maintain communication by phone and email throughout the week.
