Summer camp 2015 will run from Wednesday, July 1st to Friday, August 14th (6.5 weeks). We will be offering weekly themes similar to those offered in our enrichment classes: Lego/Electrical Engineering, Zoology, Things That Fly, Stop Motion Animation, Science Discovery and Story Writing.

There will be daily trips to the local park as well as regular excursions to Crab Cove and Ballena Bay (easy walking distance), and regular field trips (parents pay field trip entrance fees when applicable). Kids have lots of fun with plenty of opportunities for hands-on experiential learning, social-emotional support and community building, as well as acceleration and continuation of core academic competencies based upon each individual child's strengths and interests.

Please send a lunch each day with no nut products - since many of our children have allergies and restrictive diet choices we encourage home lunches though we do offer organic fruit, low fat milk and water all day every day and encourage children to listen to their bodies and eat and drink when they feel the need.

1 Da Vinci Center For Gifted Children – Summer Camp 2015

The camp will be located at 472 Taylor Avenue, Alameda, CA, 94501. By signing below you agree to commit to the full payment amount of $2475 for all 6.5 weeks of attendance regardless of whether your child attends every day. Should you decide to withdraw from the camp prior to June 20th, your payment will be returned minus a $50 registration fee. Withdrawal after that date will result in a refund minus a $50 registration fee only once we fill the position with another child and the refund will be prorated to the date another student enters. The first installment of $1200 is due upon registration to reserve a spot, with the second installment due no later than Monday, June 23rd in order to ensure a space in the camp. If the second installment is not received by June 23rd, we will offer the place to another child and refund your initial deposit. You may mail this form with a check to Da Vinci Center or scan and email the form to [email protected] and pay through Paypal on the Home Page of our website, ourgiftedchildren.net We will enroll a maximum of 8 children in the camp and enrollment will be processed in the order of applications received.
