 Middle School Student Senate Fund (200-9612): Middle School Student Senate Fund be increased from $7,509.11 to 11,381.69 ($3,872.58 increase) due to beginning balance of $3,333.11 plus $8,048.58 revenue to date, or $11,381.69 to be appropriated and spent as follows:

Middle School Student Senate Expenditures 200-4610-891-9612- 002 $ 3,872.58

 Amended Certificate: Treasurer to request an Amended Certificate of Estimated Resources Revision #3 from the Allen County Auditor with increases and additions as follows:

Additions: 200-9612 Middle School Student Senate Fund $ 3,872.58

 2010-2011 Audit: The 2010-2011 Audit of the Bluffton Exempted Village School District for the period of July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011 has been completed by Auditors of the State of Ohio. The Bluffton Exempted Village Board of Education has received and approves the 2010-2011 Audit as presented.

6. BODY MASS INDEX SCREENING PROGRAM WAIVER: ______moved, seconded by ______the Bluffton Exempted Village Board of Education obtain a waiver from the Ohio Department of Education of the implementation of Body Mass Index Screening Program for 2012 – 2013 school year.

I, Brad Fruchey, the President of the Bluffton Exempted Village Board of Education, (IRN 045211) hereby certify as follows:

1. That the Bluffton Exempted Village Board of Education (IRN 045211) is aware of the requirements set forth in section 3313.674(A) of the Ohio Revised Code that each student enrolled in kindergarten, third grade, fifth grade and ninth grade be screened for body mass index and weight status category, prior to the first day of May of the school year.

2. That the Bluffton Exempted Village Board of Education (IRN 045211) is unable to comply with the requirements of section 3313.674 of the Ohio Revised Code and has resolved to seek a waiver from compliance with said requirements from the Superintendent of Public instruction for the 2012-2013 school year.

3. That the Bluffton Exempted Village Board of Education (IRN 045211) has duly authorized the execution of this resolution by Brad Fruchey.

 North Central Educational Service Center – Audiology 2012-2013: The Bluffton Exempted Village Board of Education enter into an agreement with the North Central Educational Service Center for Audiology Services as required for special educational purposes.

 Northwest Ohio Area Computer Services Cooperative Agreement 2012-2013: The Bluffton Exempted Village Board of Education approve the agreement with the Northwest Ohio Area Computer Services Cooperative Service Provider Contract for Internet Service.

 Home Tutor at $18.54 per hour worked: Barbara Paxton  Long Term Substitute (20 days at $72.00; balance at BA-0 rate): Christy Garmatter – effective January 3, 2012

 Substitute Educational Aide at $9.13 per hour worked: Sarah Askins

 Weight Room Supervisor Contract at $10.95 per hour worked: Dennis Lee

 Supplemental Contract:

Activity Employee Head Boys Tennis Jesse Sensenig Volunteer Assistant Middle School JoAnne Heaster Track

 Ohio Achievement Assessment Tutors: Bonnie Hammond be issued a contract for the period March 5, 2012 – April 27, 2012 at $72.00 per day worked to be paid out of Title I Targeted Assistance fund.

Liane Thompson be issued a contract for the period March 5, 2012 – April 27, 2012 at $72.00 per day worked to be paid out of Title I Targeted Assistance fund.

 Ohio Achievement Assessment Substitute Tutor at $72.00 per day worked: Janelle Bogart

The Board reserves the right to treat any offer of employment as withdrawn if the contract is not signed and returned within ten (10) business days of mailing.

Neff & Associates, 122 N. Jackson St., Bluffton, Ohio 45817, to develop plans and bid specifications for installing a concession stand and restrooms at Steinmetz Field.

In order for the Board to fulfill its obligation to complete the planned agenda in an effective and efficient fashion, a maximum of 30 minutes of public participation may be permitted at each meeting. Each person addressing the Board shall give his/her name and address. If several people wish to speak, each person is allotted three minutes until the total time of 30 minutes is used. During that period, no person may speak twice until all who desire to speak have had the opportunity to do so.
