Announcing LABMED’s 7th Annual Bullet’s Benefit Bash

On-Line Auction to benefit LABMED, Inc. November 1 – 9, 2002

Where can you buy wonderful, one of a kind and handcrafted items, and help Lab Rescue efforts, too? At LABMED’s seventh annual Bullet’s Benefit Bash! Last fall’s auction was a huge success with almost 500 items up for bid, raising over $18,000. This year we have many more exciting items you’ll not want to miss, like custom needlework, one-of-a-kind handmade items, artwork, and regional gift baskets. There really is something for everyone on your list--and we mean EVERYONE! The auction comes at just the right time for Holiday shopping too. You don't have to own a Lab or even have a dog to want some of these items. Take a look at just a few of this year's offerings:

Do You Believe in Second Chances? LABMED Does!!! LABMED’s mission is to fund medical treatment for abandoned ill or injured Labrador Retrievers; our funding enables these Labs to have a Second Chance at a happy, healthy life in an adoptive home. Your generous participation in our auction will allow us to continue funding Labs like Zack, a chocolate Lab abandoned at a boarding facility in Alaska, who needed surgery for a badly infected tooth, jaw, and severely infected ears. Madison, our 274th dog, was found with her leg so severely injured from being tangled in barbed wire that the leg had to be amputated. Windsor, a chocolate Lab puppy, who needed treatment for Parvo virus, a deadly canine respiratory disease. The list goes on and on – LABMED has funded more than 425 dogs in almost 6 years – spending more than $170,300 on those dogs. You can see why your participation in our auction is so important! Oh, and why is it called “Bullet’s Benefit Bash?” Why, to honor our very first success story. See his pictures below!
