Entry Fees: $10.00 per entry per class Limit: 2 pens per division. Danish system of Judging 1 Only Market Ready will sell. Exhibitor may only sell one small or one large animal. 2 Meat pen classes open to youth exhibitors from Riverside County. Ages 5 (as of 6-1-2016) to 19 yrs. of age 3 Meat pens may consist of cockerels, pullets, or a combination of both. Total of three birds 4 Market Turkey- one bird - Tom or Hen 5 Turkey exhibitor must be present at time of judging. See Master Schedule for dates and times. 6 Hatchery receipt must be submitted to the entry office by Sept 2, 2017 4:00 pm. No Exceptions. 7 Champion and Reserve Champion & Market Ready meat pens will be sold at the Junior Livestock Auction. 8 Exhibitors must furnish cage to carry animal to the sale ring. 9 Exhibitors are responsible for care of their animals. Feed MAY be provided; however exhibitor must provide shavings, feed and water containers. 10 *Birds will be weighed AFTER they are inspected and before they are penned. 11 *Only birds making show weight will be allowed to enter poultry tent and remain on fairgrounds.

DIVISION 1315 POULTRY MEAT PENS

Class: 1 4-H - Three birds- 3 1/2 - 6 lbs per bird not over 8 weeks. 2 FFA - Three birds- 3 1/2 lbs – 6 lbs per bird not over 8 weeks of age. 3 Independent – Three birds – 3 ½ lbs – 6 lbs per bird not over 8 weeks of age.

DIVISION 1316 MARKET TURKEY

Classes: 1 4-H - Hen -16 - 29 lbs., 17 weeks (min) - 22 weeks (max). 2 4-H – Toms - 25 lbs-40 lbs. 17 weeks (min)-22 weeks (max). 3 FFA – Hen – 16 - 29 lbs., 17 weeks (min) - 22 weeks (max). 4 FFA – Toms - 25 lbs-40 lbs. 17 weeks (min)-22 weeks (max). 5 Independent - Hen – 16 - 29 lbs., 17 weeks (min) - 22 weeks (max). 6 Independent – Toms - 25 lbs-40 lbs. 17 weeks (min)-22 weeks (max).

Entry Fees: $10.00 per entry per class Danish System of Judging Limit: 2 entries per exhibitor per division Rules: 1. Only Market Ready Meat Pens are eligible to sell. 2. Meat pen classes open to youth exhibitors from Riverside County. Ages 5(as of 6-1-2017) to 19 yrs. of age. 3. All rabbits entered in the meat pen class must be earmarked to correspond with the entry and not entered in any other class. 4. Bill of sale must be submitted to entry office by Sept. 3, 2016 5. Pen consists of 3 rabbits-weighing 3.5 lbs. to 5.5 lbs. and not over 10 weeks of age. Each entry to be one breed and variety or crossbred. Please indicate on entry form. 6. Classes will be judged by the most current ARBA standard rules. 7. Each exhibitor may sell one meat pen. Meat pens will be sold at the Junior Livestock auction. 8. No meat pen animal may be entered in any other class or in breed show. 9. Exhibitors will provide their own water and food crocks. The fair will replenish water and food as needed. If you wish to have your rabbits fed only by you, a visible sign must be present reading "Owner Will Feed". The fair will feed rabbits that have been without food for more than eight (8) hours.

Single Commercial Classes Classes: 1 Single Fryer-not over 69 days and not over 5lbs. 2 Single Roaster-less than 6 months of age, maximum weight 8lbs. 3 Single Stewer- 6 months of age and older, minimum weight 8lbs.
