2014 HSC Trial Examinations Timetable  Students must be at the examination room at least 10 minutes prior to the commencement of the exam)  If you know that, you will not be present for any exams or if you are, absent on the day of an exam you must see the Head Teacher of that subject, who will organise a replacement time for your exam(s).  Make sure you familiarise yourself with the exam rules, printed on the reverse side of this timetable.  All exams will be in the hall unless otherwise stated.  Those with Disability provisions will commence at the same time as the other candidates. Time has been allowed at the end of the exams for your provisions.

They cannot be used as a calculator. If you must have one, for any reason, it must be handed to supervising teacher at the start of the examination.  The Year Advisor is to ensure that parents receive a letters explaining when the exams will be and when students must attend. This must be sent at least one week prior to the start of the exams.  This letter must outline when students need to be at school for their exams and if they are permitted to leave early.  Ms. Edwards will responsible for drawing up the examination supervision roster.  Students are to be given at least two weeks notice of major exams. Where possible exam dates are to put on the community calendar that goes home to parents.  A letter regarding non-attendance may be sent home if a student fails to attend an examination without prearranging an alternative exam time.  Full school uniform must be worn to all examinations. There is no wearing of hats in the exam room.  Students may have water in clear plastic drink bottles only. Students may have medicated confectionary eg cough lollies.  Students cannot borrow any items (eg calculators, pens etc) once the examination has begun.  If a student needs to go to the toilet, they are to be accompanied by a teacher.  Only illness, misadventure, or prearranged leave will be considered if a student misses an exam. Otherwise, the student will receive zero.  If a student is found to be cheating they will have, their exam paper cancelled and will receive zero for that exam.  Student’s bags are to be placed inside the hall along the sidewalls away from student contact.  Students must obey all instructions given by supervising staff. Students are not to talk or to attempt to disrupt the exam in any way.  Once the examiner has begun the exam, there is to be no communication between students until they are instructed that the examination is over.  A copy of this policy and the examination supervision roster will be on display in the examination room.
