Deciding What to Teach in Mathematics *** Friday, 5:00 – 5:50 p.m. (Room 3) Presented by Tom Clark, President of Videotext Interactive Tom Clark, president of VideoText Interactive, and author of "Algebra: A Complete Course", will lead you through a detailed investigation of the nature of concept development, logical reasoning and analytical skills, all of which are preferable to memorizing shortcuts, tricks, formulas, and rules. In addition, considerable attention will be given to identifying the reason behind the orderly arrangement of mathematical concepts with an emphasis on the determination of "appropriate" content.
