Fellowship of Huntsville Church Building Use Guidelines & Requirements

We are very blessed as a church body to have such quality facilities. It is our desire that these building be used to bring glory to God and to further his kingdom. We have established the following guidelines and requirements to ensure that the facilities are well cared for and properly maintained. Use of the church’s facilities is a privilege and guidelines and requirements should be followed at all times.

Requirements: 1. Use of church facilities is reserved for active members of Fellowship of Huntsville Church. 2. A building reservation form is to be filled out and approved by staff two weeks before the event is to take place. 3. The building usage fee is to be paid at the time of the submission of the building reservation form. 4. One (1) entrance key, one (1) interior door key, and a security code will be issued to the contact person on the last church office business day before the event. The keys are to be returned to the church office by the next business day. Keys are NOT to be duplicated and the security code is not to be given out for any reason. 5. Usage of the building is restricted to a maximum of four (4) hours unless additional time is approved by staff. 6. Fellowship of Huntsville Church reserves the right to deny use of building for any reason deemed problematic. 7. All church activities and functions have precedence over all other events.

I. Worship Center

II. Fellowship Hall: Fee: $50.00

Guidelines: 1. Entrance to the Fellowship Hall is to be made only through the north double doors. Do not use the kitchen entrance as a main thoroughfare. 2. Events with seventy (70) or less participants should confine food to the dining room and tiled areas. 3. The building is to be cleaned immediately and at the end of the event. 4. ALL trash is to be removed from the building and placed in the church’s dumpster. The dumpster is located behind building #2. Make sure to close the lid on dumpster when finished. 5. Any equipment that is used (i.e. tables, chairs, sporting equipment, etc.) is to be placed back in its original location. 6. Decorations are not to be taped, pinned, or stapled to any of the carpeted walls. Glitter or decorations with glitter on them are NOT permitted in the building. 7. Any paper products that are used (i.e. plates, cups, bowls, napkins, etc.) are to be provided by the party using the building. 8. Drinks and dessert icings are NOT to be of a dark color such as (e.g. red, blue, purple, or green). Do not set drinks on the floor (especially on carpet). 9. Entrance into any other church facility is prohibited without staff approval. 10. Use of the kitchen is permitted with the following instructions: a. Items in the pantry, cabinets, drawers, refrigerator, and freezer are NOT to be used for any reason. b. The stove is to be cleaned after its use and left in the condition in which it was found. c. The ice machine door must be kept closed when not in use. 11. Do not lean items against the carpeted walls. If something must be leaned, do so against the bricked wall. Do not throw or hit balls against the walls (carpet or brick). 12. Younger children should be monitored at all time. Children should not be allowed to play with the curtain at the south end of the building. This is a safety issue. 13. Thermostats are NOT to be tampered with for any reason. 14. All doors and windows are to be checked before leaving the premises. 15. Any damage or problems that were encountered need to be reported when the key to the buildings is returned.

III. Classrooms: $20.00

1. Entrance into the facility should be from the closest door servicing the area where the classroom is located. 2. Any equipment that is used (i.e. tables, chairs, sporting equipment, etc.) is to be placed back in its original location. 3. Any paper products that are used (i.e. plates, cups, bowls, napkins, etc.) are to be provided by the party using the building. 4. Thermostats are NOT to be tampered with for any reason. 5. The classrooms & restrooms are to be cleaned immediately and at the end of the event. 6. ALL trash is to be removed from the building and placed in the church’s dumpster. The dumpster is located behind building #2. Make sure to close the dumpster lid when finished. 7. Any damage or problems that were encountered need to be reported when the key to the buildings is returned
