SF Charity Fashion Show – Summer 2017 –DESIGNER SUBMISSION FORM

The SF Charity Fashion Show is inviting established fashion designers & houses to submit original designs for inclusion in the Summer 2017 Charity Fashion Show runway event.

About the event: The Summer 2017 SF Charity Fashion Show is being held to raise funds in support of the San Francisco-Burlingame Scottish Rite Childhood Language Center. The San Francisco-Burlingame Scottish Rite Childhood Language Center's mission is to provide free evidence-based therapy and evaluations to children three to twelve years of age with speech, language, and literacy challenges. They serve children regardless of their race, gender, economic status, religious background, Masonic affiliation, or familial status.

Last year’s event drew a crowd of ~300 attendees, including international media and buyers. This year’s event is expected to be even larger and we are partnering with video outlets to help increase visibility for the designers.

Eligibility:

• The Summer 2017 SF Charity Fashion Show is open to all designers ages 18 or above. • Entries must be the exclusive work of the submitter or submitting team, completed within the last one year or created especially for this show. • All works must be wearable objects to be modeled on a runway, and must exhibit unique, innovative, inspirational and creative artistry. • This is a juried event. Evaluation will be based upon creative uniqueness, the originality of the work and the quality of the overall submission

Requirements: Models for the runway show will be provided. Any designer-preferred models must be approved by the committee in advance. Designers must be willing to participate in collaboration with any and all event staff in regard to video recording, interviews, blog postings, and any other supplemental activities deemed appropriate by the charity and event teams. Designers must always conduct themselves in a professional manner when participating in any SFCFS event or any event sponsored by or affiliated with SFCFS and/or any of its sponsors or partners.

This application form must accompany all submissions. Submissions must include look book, line sheet or current collection viewable online. All submissions should identify designer, contact information, and primary materials.

The Summer 2016 SF Charity Fashion Show event is scheduled to be held on Saturday, July 15th, 2016 at the San Francisco Scottish Rite Masonic Center - http://www.sfscottishrite.com/.

What Accepted Designers MUST provide to the show: * Fully designed and prepped line for showing * Styling for your line including jewelry, shoes, headwear, etc * We do request that the models bring their own personal shoes based on instructions from the designers including colors and types of shoes. We also have various jewelry, hat, etc designers who are willing to help with styling your show but is not guaranteed. Please plan accordingly and be prepared to style your show. * High Res Logo * Designer Bio * Custom Music * If no custom music provided, the designer can provide a playlist to the DJ no later than June 1, 2017. If no playlist provided, the DJ will select music that (s)he deems appropriate for the show. * A show fee of $250 made payable no later than June 1st, 2017 * Donation of at least one piece (minimum retail value $100) from your line for the charity auction – donations of more than one piece and higher value are greatly appreciated!
