1 [3802-1] 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION 10 11 TO REQUEST THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION 12 TO NAME THE BRIDGE ALONG COUNTRY CLUB DRIVE 13 IN THE COUNTY OF DILLON FOR THE HONORABLE 14 WILLIAM BLEDSOE HAWKINS AND TO INSTALL 15 APPROPRIATE MARKERS OR SIGNS AT THE BRIDGE 16 CONTAINING THE WORDS “WILLIAM BLEDSOE 17 HAWKINS BRIDGE”. 18 19 Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate 20 concurring: 21 22 That the members of the South Carolina General Assembly request 23 the Department of Transportation to name the bridge along 24 Country Club Drive in the County of Dillon for the Honorable 25 William Bledsoe Hawkins and to install appropriate markers or 26 signs at the bridge containing the words “William Bledsoe 27 Hawkins Bridge”. 28 29 Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to 30 the Department of Transportation. 31 ----XX---- 32
