If you need a calculator for the ACT or Pre ACT test, you can sign up on the counter in the front office. 9th & 10th graders will be provided with one if needed only after wee see if we have enough for our ACT students. You also may bring your own approved calculator. . ACT prep Saturday will be held again March 18 from 8:00-12:00. Students should bring a calculator, paper and pencils. . New scholarships have been added to the counselor’s Moodle page: The St. James Business and Industry Development Group Scholarship due TODAY. The Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Community Scholarship. The Louisiana Sheriffs’ Scholarship. The Jarvis Landry “Building Winners” Scholarship. Any senior interested in a teaching career can now apply for the St. James Retired Teachers’ Scholarship. Deadline for all is March 31. . Prom is Saturday, March 25 at the Mercedes Benz Superdome Champion Square 7:30- 11:00. Ticket sales are until Wednesday, March 22 and the cost is $50 per guest. Bus sign up will be March 20-21. Romaguera will be here on March 22-23 for pre Prom picture package sales. Buses will depart promptly at 6:30 the night of the prom and you must have an ID to load the bus. . 7/8 grade students interested in joining Student Council, please see Ms. M. Brown in room 501 during your lunch period. The last day to enroll for MS and HS is April 3. . JROTC Colorguard MANDATORY practice today.

 Tryouts for the 2017-2018 Periquette Dance Team will be held March 28 & 29 immediately after school. Students in grades 8th-11th interested in trying out can sign up in the front office. Tryout packets will be delivered to students who signed up before the end of next week.  Best Wishes to the 2016 - 2017 Periquette Competition Team as they travel to Orlando, Florida today to compete in the American All Star National Competition.
