Welcome the Manitowoc Lincoln High School Golf Invitational Tournament at the National Course at Fox Hills Resort

Schools Participating: Appleton East, Appleton North, Green Bay Preble, Green Bay Southwest, Green Bay West, Manitowoc Lincoln, Neenah, Notre Dame Academy, Oshkosh North, Oshkosh West, Plymouth, Port Washington, Sheboygan North, Sheboygan South, Two Rivers

Entry Fee: $170.00, includes lunch for all golfers and coaches.

Rules: Sheets are provided in the coaches folders.

Registration: Registration will begin at 9:00am. We will have a registration table located in the Pro Shop.

Practice Range: The practice range and putting green will be available. Each team has a designated spot (look for signs)

with golf balls provided.

Coaches: Coaches can play if they would like. There are tee times on the tee sheet to make room for each coach to play. Please know each specific tee location for your team to keep a level of organization.

Dress Code: Proper dress is required. Competitors and coaches must wear a collared shirt. No jeans or denim clothing is permitted.

Carts: Coaches may take carts if they decide to play. However, if coaches are not playing and need a ride to a specific area of the course, please find a Fox Hills employee, Assistant Golf Coach, Mark Swanson, or Head Golf Coach, Erik Tietyen, and we will do our best to get you there.

Expectations: Please help your athletes understand the expectations for behavior and etiquette while playing in the Manitowoc Lincoln HS-Fox Hills Invitational.

Lunch: Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase in the Pro Shop. Lunch will be provided. Tee Times: Tee sheets have been provided. Coaches will be responsible for getting their players to their assigned tee on time.

Restrooms: Restrooms are available to coaches and athletes located on the course, range, and also in the Pro Shop.

Scoring:

Scoring will take place in the Pro Shop. Immediately after the round, athletes should go to the scoring table in the Pro Shop and confirm scores. Once completed, athletes will sign their cards and give them to their coach. The coaches will be responsible for reporting their team’s score.

Awards: Awards will be announced in the Golf Shop upon completion of play and scoring. We encourage all teams to stay for the Awards Presentation and recognize those teams and individuals.

Team Awards:

A customized plaque will be given to the first-, second-, and third-place teams. If there is a tie for first place, the 5th player’s score, which was thrown out, will be used to determine the 1st-place team. The WIAA recommended scorecard tiebreak will be used to break ties between second- and third-place and third- and fourth-place.

Individual Awards: First place will receive a gold medal. Second place will receive a silver medal. Third through tenth place will receive bronze medals. In case of a tie we will be using the WIAA recommended scorecard tie breaker to determine all medals. There will be no individual playoffs.

Results: Manitowoc Lincoln coaches will email results to each team’s coach participating in the Invitational. Please provide your email to Erik Tietyen to assure everyone is included. Results will also be sent to the Green Bay Press Gazette, Manitowoc Herald Times and the Sheboygan Press. If you would like your local newspaper included, please provide Erik Tietyen with the email address prior to your departure.
