Let’s help Hannah Flemming go to Europe! Information is in Fellowship Hall. Hannah will be holding fundraiser Bake Sales following church on May 4th and June 1st.

Please, please, please!! If you can serve by being an usher/greeter, liturgist or nursery helper, sign-up sheets are in Fellowship Hall.

The Food Pantry will be open this Tuesday, 2-4 pm for the last time until November.

Join us every Sunday evening, here at COS at 6:00pm, for a Prayer Gathering. Everyone is welcome.

Sponsor a Child for Camp Summertime is here and so is church camp for many lucky children. Camp memories last a lifetime. If you would like to provide a week of camp for a child who would otherwise not be able to afford it, please donate to the Church of the Straits Campership Scholarship Fund. It costs approximately $315 per child to attend camp for a week. Any donation, no matter how large or small is appreciated and could make a huge difference in a child’s life. For more information on camps available, contact Pastor Dave or the church office. Vacation Bible School is an important part of our community! Each year lots of kids come to COS and hear the good news of Jesus through VBS. It is always done extremely well, but at a cost. It takes a village – in this case a church. In preparing for VBS this year, in order to not put a burden on the budget and help offset expenses, June 1st will be “VBS Sunday”. Specially marked envelopes will be available for your contributions. Please prayerfully consider helping with the planning and costs associated with this worthwhile and important community event.
