1. State Employees Credit Union “People Helping People” Scholarship -for a student who has been accepted and plans to attend one of the 16 UNC system universities -applicants must exemplify the SEANC membership philosophy of “People Helping People” – through academic accomplishments, leadership, strong character, integrity, and commitment to community service -all applications will be presented to a Faculty Council for review and selection; a SAHS senior WILL receive this scholarship Amount: $2,500 per year for four years Application is due to Mrs. Payne by March 26, 2013

2. Randolph Telephone General Scholarship Program -applicants must be a dependent of a member or subscriber of the Randolph Telephone Company whose primary residence telephone number has a prefix of 622, 241, 381, 461, 464, 581, 857, or 879 -applicant must meet entrance requirements for an accredited college or university Amount: varies Application is due to Mrs. Payne by March 27, 2013

3. Alamance County Cattlemen’s Association -awards scholarship to students in need who are pursuing an education in an agricultural related field (Agriculture fields may include forestry, horticulture, animal science, etc.) -consideration will be given to scholarship, school and community activities, activities and involvement in agriculture, and future plans Amount: $1,000 Application must be received by March 31, 2013

4. Alamance County Farm Bureau Scholarship -awarded to a graduating senior planning to attend a two year college or four year college program in an agriculture or agricultural related field -consideration will be given to academics, character, financial need, and leadership potential; preference will be given to farm bureau members Amount: $1,000 per year for four years Application is due to the Farm Bureau Office in Graham by April 15, 2013

5. Graham Rotary Club -will sponsor a scholarship for a SAHS senior to assist in defraying the expense of post-secondary education -application addresses academic record, financial need, extracurricular activities, high moral standards, and future plans Amount: $$1,000 Application is due to Mrs. Payne by March 27, 2013 (*please note earlier deadline from what is posted on the application flyer from the Graham Rotary Club – due to spring break schedule)
