Keyboarding In the Classroom Instructions: Pre-Lesson Assessment: None of the pre-tests or lesson tests will be graded – so do not look underneath your black keyboard cover. UK – TF (Typing Forum) – Typing Tests – Anyone with the word test in front of it Cover On – 1 min -1 time Record score in Excel cell B3 if you got less than 80 percent put >80 in cell B3.

Record your best score in Excel cell C4 – you will be looking at the report and choosing the speed and accuracy that is the best (accuracy is more important). For example in this report the best accuracy is 98 but my speed is 66, the next best accuracy is 97 with a much higher speed of 82 so I would put the 82-97 in my pacing guide in cell C4.
Practiced at home for the week by go to Mrs. Eggen’s website – 6 th Grade Digital Literacy – Keyboarding – Practicing at Home – Open the document for week 1 and practice your homerow – you do not need to type the whole document but if you feel you do not know the homerow practice by typing the whole document – you should be practicing 2 to 3 times during the week.
