Lyle Carlile: We’re now at a record for Preparedness Level 1 days.

Gerry Day: We did a simulated MAC conference call.

NW MAC Business: (Handout #1- NW MAC Operations Handbook, 32 pp) (Handout #2 – NWCC Operations Plan, 11 pp)  The PNW CC Operations Plan and MAC Operations Handbook were signed.  At 1045 am, there was a MAC Prioritization Exercise.

Geographic Area Level Aviation Management (Handout #4 – Geographic Area Level Aviation Management, 3 pp) (Handout #5 – Geographic Area Level Aviation Management Follow-up, NMAC, 1 p) (Handout #6 – Draft, Clarification of Strategic Assessment for Geo Area Level Mgmt, 1 p)  Sub-Geographic Area MAC’s subject is deferred to July.

Review and discussion of Key Fire Season 2009 Talking Points. (Handout #7 –Fire National Themes for 2009 Fire Season, 1 p)  Identification of the pinch points.

 Paul Bell will be the MAC Chair.

Hot Topics  Subpoenas were received yesterday regarding the 2007 Crew Contract. Paul and Carl provided the context for this subject.

 2009 Contract is held up by a legal hearing pending for tomorrow.

 The Grants & Fuels Management Working Teams met with Paul and Pam. They are working on their merger.

 Interagency Operability Group is coming to the PNW in July.
