LOCAL LAW STUDENT AWARDED SCHOLARSHIP FROM COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION LAW FIRM KAYE BENDER REMBAUM NSU student and Margate resident awarded $2,500

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – Stephanie Herrmann’s academic achievements, community service and an essay about a common issue facing community associations today and how she would counsel an association to resolve it were recognized by South Florida community association law firm Kaye Bender Rembaum which awarded her a $2,500 scholarship.

“I am humbled and grateful to have this scholarship,” said Herrmann, a resident of Margate and a second year law student at the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University. “This will go a long way in helping me with the expenses associated with law school. It’s great that Kaye Bender Rembaum gives back like this. I look forward to giving back in the community after I graduate.” The Firm presents an annual scholarship to a second or third year full-time or fourth year evening student at Nova Southeastern University who is in good standing with a grade point average above a 3.3, demonstrates community involvement and prepares an essay on a topic relating to community association law. This marks the fifth year Kaye Bender Rembaum has awarded the scholarship to a deserving NSU law student.

“We believe it is important to recognize and support the legal profession’s future leaders,” said Robert L. Kaye, Esq., managing member of Kaye Bender Rembaum with offices in Pompano Beach and Palm Beach County. “We received several impressive scholarship applications, but Stephanie’s stood out from the rest. We congratulate her on a job well done.”

According to Jon Garon, dean of the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University, contributions from community partners contribute to the continued success of NSU law students. “We value the relationship we have with partners like Kaye Bender Rembaum who not only offer this scholarship opportunity to our students but also hire them as well. It speaks to the talents and accomplishments of our students.”
