VACANCY: 21 LIFEGUARDS CONTRACTUAL BLUE FLAG and SEASONAL SWIMMING BEACHES 2017/2018 SALARY: R7 675 per month Applications are invited from persons who consider themselves suitably qualified for appointment to the abovementioned position. Requirements: - Qualification: Lifeguard Award (LA) or Surf Proficiency Award (SPA) with a valid and up-to-date retest - At least one season’s experience of lifesaving on a Blue Flag Beach preferably within the Ndlambe area or Eastern Cape - Lifeguards residing in the Ndlambe area will be given preference as no accommodation or meals will be provided. - An official application form with a copy of relevant certificate needs to be submitted. Candidates will be contacted in November 2017. - Lifeguards need to be in possession of a working cellphone and have airtime loaded whilst on duty

Beaches where lifeguards are required: The following beaches will be covered for the period and it is the decision of the municipality where lifeguards be placed:

The closing date is 13 November 2017

A copy of the service contract will be given to the potential lifeguards on request.

Employment Equity Plan will be complied with. All applicants who do not receive any response within 21 days of the deadline of the advertisement should know their applications were not successful.
