1. Matters Arising from November 15th Meeting  Lead Protection – Because of the spate of theft from church lead roofing, Ecclesiastical Insurance has given us a sample of ‘magic’water’ to mark our roof; this enables police identification of stolen lead. Nigel offered to take its application in hand.  Travelling Cribs – these had not been used this Christmas but Catherine Morrish is planning to organise next Christmas  Christmas tree – this was provided by donation from Bruce Russell, and Sandy from Towers. The tree was supplied at a reduced rate from the church market supplier. PCC to send a letter of thanks to Bruce Russell.  Service booklets – Minor amendments were agreed and the final copy will be produced. Colin was thanked for his contribution.  Samaritan’s Purse Shoeboxes – 115 boxes had been donated this year including 53 from the school. This was the best ever response. Thanks to everyone involved.  Notice boards and wall safe –.Alan and Nigel are to review the existing layout on the notice boards and see how this can be reorganised to accommodate new displays for the organ restoration and FOSM.

2. Signing of the Minutes – the meeting being satisfied, the chairman signed the minutes as correct.

3. Churchwardens meeting - dates for the Benefice 2008 services had been agreed and PCC agreed on the following points:  Easter Day – 8.45 Holy Communion from prayer book, 9.45 All Age Communion Unconfirmed

 Remembrance Sunday – there will be no morning services – the 3pm service will enable everyone to concentrate on remembrance.  Alpha Course – start date 24th Sept, on Wednesdays. Yelvertoft to host with support from Crick.  Harvest 12th October  Nativity – 14th December at Burnhams Farm. Catherine to organise – to liaise with Michael at Lilbourne.  Carol Service – to be held at 6.00 on 14th December.  21st December – 9.45 All age communion for benefice. No 8.45 service  Midnight Communion to be held at 10.00. Yelvertoft and Lilborne at 8.30 and 11.30. Lin explained that she would be standing down as churchwarden at the annual meeting because of work commitments conflicting with the demands of the churchwarden role.

4. Organ Update Once the Heritage Lottery Fund gives approval and the first installment is received, the contract with the organ restorer can be signed. Repairs are due to start in July this year. Arrangements will need to be made for an alternative organ to be available whilst the main organ has been removed for restoration 5. Finance  It was agreed to cover the speaker expenses for the Women’s Day of Prayer.  As a result of changing numbers attending each of the three parish churches it may become necessary to adjust the parish share. Colin is following this up.

6. Correspondance  Sheila Robertson – regarding invoice fro travel expenses to Elevate. Grant now been awarded from April.  Sheila Robertson – The PCC supported the proposal to hold a children’s activity morning in the church on 15th March. Proposed by Catherine Morrish and seconded by Alan Leach.  Jeff Day - regarding further work on the war memorial. It was noted that Jeff would need to be informed if a funeral was due to take place.
