The Parent, Teacher, Student Association at Northwest High School is committed to providing your children with programs and support that will enhance their HS educational experience. The NWHS PTSA also serves as advocates for the school, which includes offering testimony about its needs before the Board of Education and County Council four times each school year.

After-Prom Party - Assist with any or all of the following: planning, activities, decorations, food, prizes, tickets, fundraising, publicity, chaperoning, clean up, etc.

Baking/Hospitality - Provide food for various school functions

Communications - Assist in the production or mailing of newsletter or with maintenance of the PTSA website

Copy Team – Make copies and distribute as needed for staff and/or the PTSA

Fundraising - Assist chair with fundraising activities as planned (e.g. Brick Sales, Practice SAT/ACT Tests, etc.)

Publicity/Membership - Assist chairs as needed to publicize PTSA benefits and programs

Staff Appreciation - Furnish food for monthly Staff Appreciation breakfasts and/or staff luncheons: assist chair with set-up and cleanup (commitment is every few months)

Student Outreach Programs - Assist chair to set up and implement programs for students

Ticket Sales/Forms Collection - Sell tickets or collect forms as needed during lunch for various activities

As Needed - Provide assistance with PTSA events or programs when your schedule permits.
