INTRODUCTION OF RESOLUTIONS:

A RESOLUTION proclaiming April 2015 as “Safe Digging Month”. (Introduced by Councilman McCree).

A RESOLUTION ordering and calling a special election to be held in the City of Bogalusa, State of Louisiana, to authorize the renewal of a special tax therein; making application to the State Bond Commission in connection therewith; and providing for other matters in connection therewith. (Introduced by Councilman Ritchie).

A RESOLUTION of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Bogalusa, Washington parish, Louisiana, authorizing an Intergovernmental Agreement with the City of Crowley to accept the donation of used self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) Packs for use by the Bogalusa Fire Department; to manufacturer’s warranty and waiver of liability for use in favor of the City of Crowley; and to provide for all matters relative thereto. (Introduced by Councilwoman Kates).

INTRODUCTION OF ORDINANCES:

AN ORDINANCE authorizing a Professional Service Agreement between the City of Bogalusa and Byron Stewart Consultant, LLC. For grants, business matters and legislative matters. (Introduced by Councilwoman Kates).

AN ORDINANCE requesting to close the remaining alleyway in the 400 block between Superior and Ontario Avenues. (Introduced by Councilwoman Fortenberry).

PUBLIC HEARING:

AN ORDINANCE to change from A-3 Residential to B-1 Business at 820 Robert “Bob” Hicks Street to open a snowball stand at this address. (Introduced by Councilwoman Smith).

AN ORDINANCE to authorize the Mayor of the City of Bogalusa to enter into a contract with the low bidder North Shore General Contractors, LLC for cleaning asbestos abated lots. (Introduced by Councilwoman Fortenberry).
