STORY SUMMARY: Sports Authority is officially launching its philanthropic arm, Pass the Good Foundation. To kick off this initiative, NFL PLAY 60, USA Football and Sports Authority have joined forces to support the Pass the Good equipment donation program. NFL PLAY 60 is the NFL’s campaign to inspire youth to get at least 60 minutes of physical activity each day.

The Pass the Good program allows youth and families to donate their slightly used football cleats, gloves, footballs and NFL apparel to any Sports Authority location and receive a $10 cash card to be used on an in-store purchase. USA Football, the official youth football development partner of the NFL, distributes the equipment to local youth leagues in need.

Through non-profit organization, Sports Authority has the ability to reach out to local communities and stay involved on a more personal level. To learn more, or find donation locations near you, visit www.sportsauthority.com/passthegood.
