Student Cabling Resume You are required to answer the questions below in relation to the Certificate 2 Telecommunications Cabling Competencies. This document is in Microsoft Word format and with this program you may directly enter your answers from your computer. If you do not have Microsoft Word you may use any equivalent Document production program or you may print the relevant pages and hand write your answers (please write neatly).

Alternatively you may make an appointment with the assessor and record your answers via the telephone line which is much faster to do if you don’t wish to make a written submission. Read this document and prepare your thoughts to answer questions in relation to each competency. The recorded conversation will be kept as an MP3 file on HDD and backed up on optical media (CD or DVD ROM).

It is a requirement of the Department of Education and Training that you also provide “validation evidence” to support your answers. Evidence may be provided to your RTO Assessor in the following formats.

1. Photographic evidence of completed work 2. Video evidence of completed work 3. Supporting letters from Employers 4. References from Customers you have worked for 5. Demonstration of skills to a CCC hands on day trainer 6. Telephone assessment, recorded for evidence

The goal of this resume of experience, written or recorded audio, and supporting evidence is to compare your experience and evidence to the Cert 2 competencies.

If gaps are found you will simply be required to gain more field experience or seek specific training from CCC and our hands on trainers.

A successful outcome to be issued your Certificate will be determined by completion and validation of the following aspects of this training course.

1. Successfully completing all online assessments of your theory/knowledge 2. Successfully completing the hands on training day and assessment (Observation Checklist) 3. Successfully completing the cabling resume and assessment of your validation evidence

Recognition of Prior Learning may be applicable in any of the 3 determinations listed above. RPL evidence may be used that will also be validated as outlined above.
