Hello, Blues Lovers...... Plenty of new blues discs getting their first play this week but first we let Willie Dixon kick things off with a classic from 1969. Then we reach into a stack of new releases and pull out new ones from Shakura S'Aida, Billy, Boy Arnold and Chuck Leavell- all pretty tasty players! Also, new of note is Chicago bluesman Nigel Mack and Canal Street Tavern veteran Paul Thorn. Both have loaded their new discs with some really cool material. I think you'll find it hard to resist these tracks... Also of note is the new album from Brad Hatfield. I'll be tracking more from this one, fur sure... Finally, try to catch the Pinetop number that closes out the show. It's a fun tune from the latest posthumous disc of rare material just released...
