Jeneanne Hanley Vice President, Global Trim & Craftsmanship

Jeneanne Hanley was named Vice President, Global Trim & Craftsmanship for Lear Corporation in June 2015. In this role she has P&L responsibility for Lear’s sewing and textile business encompassing 9 countries, 20 manufacturing locations, and over 25,000 associates. In addition to this role, she is leading the new Craftsmanship Office leveraging Lear’s dominant position as the leader of highly crafted seating systems.

Previous positions held by Hanley include Vice President Americas Seating, Vice President of Business Development and Strategy for Lear’s Electrical Division, Vice President High Power Engineering and Business Unit, Lear Electrical and Vice President North America Seating Sales and Marketing. Since joining Lear in September 1994 as a Product Engineer, she has held various positions within product development, sales and marketing, strategy, operations and general management in her twenty years with Lear.

Hanley is a board member of Inforum, and chair of the Automotive Next Group committed to advancing the careers of women in the automotive industry. She was also named one of the 100 Leading Women in the North America Automotive Industry by Automotive News, and one of the 100 Most Influential Women in Michigan.

Hanley earned both a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering as well as a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
