Dear Sheli:
Thank you for agreeing to be a member of our program for Foundations of Teaching Health and Physical Education on Thursday, October 14, 2004. The sharing session is scheduled for approximately 9:15 to 11:00. We will meet in Esby Gymnasium. The format for this semester’s program will be to present developmentally appropriate physical education activities for about one hour. This of course will be a hands-on experience for the 55 students in this class. This will be followed by a question and answer session, of course, we encourage student questions at any time during the morning. During the final discussion session students will be encouraged to ask questions about curriculum development, grading/evaluation, promoting programs, what makes a good elementary physical education teacher, the future of our profession, and other pertinent items. Parking is a nightmare since they have started construction on the new College of Education Building. Do you still have a parking decal? Call me about parking (home is 589-4032) and it will be best to arrive early. Thank you for agreeing to be a presenter. I am looking forward to seeing you on October 14th and expect you will be able to join me for lunch.
Sincerely,
