2010 ANNUAL ALAR CONFERENCE – CALL FOR PARTICIPATION

The 2010 Annual ALAR Conference will be held on Friday, April 9, 2010 at the University of Central Arkansas (UCA) campus. This annual conference has been sponsored by Acxiom Laboratory for Applied Research. There will be no fees to participants. We cordially invite you to participate in the following activities of the Conference:  Full Paper: Researchers and practitioners are encouraged to submit their research results or survey of current trends in computing and its applications. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings http://research.acxiom.com/publications.html.  Students’ Paper: Graduate and undergraduate students are strongly encouraged to submit their initial research results obtained with their mentors. The format of student paper is the same as full paper but with different acceptance criteria. Accepted student papers will also be published in the conference proceedings. Best student paper awards will be presented at the conference.  Research-in-Progress: Submitted in slide format - accepted presentations will be published in the conference proceedings.  Programming Contest: The 2010 Acxiom Collegiate Programming Contest will be held concurrently with ALAR 2010 at the same location. Awards will be presented at the conference. All paper submissions, including research-in-progress, should be sent via email to ALAR Program Manager and Conference Co-Chair, Ms. Nancy Ward ([email protected]). To facilitate anonymous review, author’s name, affiliation, and contact information should be provided on a separate cover page from the paper submission.
