To stay current with the many changes in the healthcare industry today, I would like to attend HEALTHCON, AAPC’s 25th Annual National Conference, in Las Vegas, NV, May 7-10. At AAPC’s national conference, I will gather information from industry experts, AAPC’s board members, and at least 3,000 other healthcare professionals. The conference includes more than 80 educational sessions, including breakout sessions, specialized tracks, and the always popular anatomy expo. The conference will also cover many of the topics affecting the industry right now in all areas of healthcare including coding, auditing, billing, facility, practice management, compliance, and EMRs. In addition to the 90+ sessions, this conference offers the chance to view cutting edge products and services from 80+ industry vendors.

I can also earn up to 18 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) by attending sessions like these, helping me maintain my certification. AAPC will be providing meals throughout the course of the event, but a modest per diem is recommended.
