Breed your favorite Does to your best Bucks in September and October 2015 and enter the Kids born between February 1, 2017, and March 31, 2017.

The 2017 Doe, Buck and Wether Weanling Futurity Classes will be held at the SPPGA Goat-Tober-Fest, Tehama County Fair Grounds, Red Bluff, CA, October 21 & 22, 2017.

Note: DEADLINES WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED. Make Sure you meet the postmark deadlines

1. Any doe whose kids will be shown in the SPPGA Weanling Futurity must be nominated to the Futurity Chairman, Linda Henwood, postmarked no later than January 31, 2017. A nomination fee of $5.00 for doe kids, $5.00 for buck kids and $2.50 for wethers must be included along with the doe’s name and registration number and the name of the owner for each doe nominated. A late fee of $7.50 for bucks and does, $5.00 for wethers, postmarked no later than 2-17-17, will be accepted. All dates are final. 2. Only kids born of nominated does and born between 2-1-17 and 3-31-17 may be sustained and shown in the respective Futurities. 3. Any number of kids from the nominated doe’s litter may be sustained by paying a separate sustaining fee for each. NOTE: Specific kids do not have to be selected at this time, only the number of kids from the litter you wish to sustain, noting whether they are does, bucks or wethers. 4. The initial sustaining fee of $5.00, multiplied by the number of kids to be sustained, must be received by the Futurity Chairman postmarked no later than 4-3-17. A late fee of $7.50 for bucks, does, and wethers, postmarked no later than 4-15-17 will be accepted. All dates are final. 5. The final sustaining fee of $5.00 for each kid must be postmarked by 4-21-17. A late fee of $7.50 for bucks, does, and wethers, postmarked no later than 5-3-17, will be accepted. All dates are final. You may show as many kids as you wish up to the total number of kids you sustained as of the April 2017 dates. At this time each kid will need to be identified by its herd and barn name. 6. All Weanling Futurity entries will show in the Weanling Futurity Junior Doe Kid, Weanling Futurity Junior Buck Kid and Weanling Futurity Wether Classes at Goat-Tober-Fest October 21 & 22, 2017. Original registration papers for does, bucks and wethers will be required to be checked by the show Chairman prior to admission to the Futurity Class.

7. Only original NPGA registration papers will be accepted and entries will be judged according to the NPGA Breed Standard. 8. All Futurity fees collected will be divided and paid as premiums to the top five Futurity placements in the following increments:

1st - 30% 2nd - 25% 3rd - 20% 4th - 15% 5th - 10%

(Fees collected for does divided among does only; fees collected for wethers divided among wethers only; fees collected for bucks divided among bucks only)

9. After initial entry, there shall be no refunds for withdrawal for any reason. If the fees are not paid on time, the entry will be disqualified and fees forfeited. The only exception is in the event the show is not held, in which case the Futurity will be canceled and all fees returned to the entrants, minus any Futurity expenses already incurred. 10. If the nominated doe or any kid is sold, its Futurity rights continue to the new owner subject to the foregoing rules. Premiums will be paid to the owner at the time of the show as verified by registration papers. 11. All Futurity entries must be tattooed or microchipped to be shown.

Doe, Wether and Buck Kids entered in the 2017. Weanling Futurity will be eligible for the 2017 SPPGA Yearling Futurity.
