Description: Currently teach two or more courses per semester in the undergraduate and graduate rehabilitation programs. As needed, teach two graduate-level transition endorsement courses. Developed eight new rehabilitation services electives to meet community requests and student learning needs. Participate in regular trainings and book clubs through the Center for Teaching and Learning, as well as completed the Quality Matters training for developing effective online courses. Direct the undergraduate rehabilitation services program and graduate transition to work endorsement program. Responsibilities include: student recruitment and retention, student admissions decisions and progress reviews, instructor/adjunct supervision (recruitment, training, and mentoring), program evaluation and CORE re-accreditation (successful site visit with no conditions or recommendations reported March 2015)/state of Ohio endorsement (approved through 2021), program oversight, and student advising. Facilitate the undergraduate Advisory Council. Representative to the Greene County Disability Coalition and the Montgomery County Transition Council. Direct the Center for Enhancement of Disability 2

Employment and Research including research, dissemination of research through presentations and journal articles, and proposal development for grant funding (opened 2014). Provide program evaluation assistance to the Office of Disability Services resulting in a current research project surveying past ODS service recipients, one article in press and one under review, three conference presentations, one internally funded grant utilizing two student researchers, and three federal grant submissions. Faculty advisor to Special Olympics student organization. Participated in the CORE-facilitated professional delegation to Cuba in May 2014 and ABVE-facilitated trip in January 2016. Faculty advisor to a study abroad trip to Havana, Cuba for students with disabilities in 2017.

Description: Designed, updated and taught four or more classes per semester. Advised undergraduate students as needed on program issues, course issues, semester scheduling and career opportunities. Participated in a two year Action Research Group through Maryville University’s Center for Teaching and Learning and completed the online Teaching For Understanding course through Harvard University. Facilitated the Employment Training Collaborative (ETC), a group of community rehabilitation partners created to identify and offer joint trainings. Trainings provided by ETC include Professionalism for Job Coaches and Developers, Autism, Dual Diagnosis, and Benefits Analysis. Facilitated the MOBLN (Missouri Business Leadership Network) advisory board, a community group designed to increase employment opportunities for people with disabilities through a network for employers. MOBLN activities included initiating a scholarship for students with disabilities to go to college and a mentorship program. Liaison to Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis, including the organization and facilitation of a yearly conference on campus for individuals with Down Syndrome and families. Developed two plus two articulation agreements with local community colleges for students to seamlessly bridge into the undergraduate rehabilitation services degree. Served on various campus committees and as faculty advisor to Relay for Life student organization.

Description: In addition to standardizing and teaching courses, advised graduate student council members for the Rehabilitation Counseling department on recruitment and retention of students into the program. Organized and designed printed material and power point lectures for graduate students to market the rehabilitation program to undergraduate classes at universities around the state. Description: Coordinated a campus based graduate student training program. Reviewed and accepted applicants into the graduate program as well as the campus work adjustment program for high school students that the graduate students were trained on. Trained graduate students in service delivery and assessment of work skills and behaviors. Administrative duties included supervision of all graduate student assistants, coordination with high school personnel regarding high school student planning and placements, collaboration with employers on campus, and development/maintenance of all paperwork/procedures as needed. www.ehhs.kent.edu/cite. Description: Assessed applicants for eligibility and diagnostic needs. Reviewed evaluations and completed comprehensive work assessments to collaboratively create appropriate rehabilitation plans for employment with consumers. Conducted service and progress evaluations to determine appropriateness and effectiveness of plans. Mentored new counselors through transition into and out of agency service.
