NAME OF APPLICANT: Murphy Ltd Unit B4 Redscar Business Park Longridge Road Preston PR2 5NJ

REASON FOR ORDER: To excavate and lay High Voltage cables in verge roadway on behalf of Electricity North West

DESCRIPTION/LOCATION OF THE WORKS:

In order to allow Murphy Ltd to lay High Voltage cable in the highway/ or verge from a property known as Birkhill on the C1027 extending in a south easterly direction for approximately 300m to a property known as “Pheasant Cottage”.

Building pride in Cumbria OPERATIONAL DATE AND DURATION OF ORDER:

This notice will be in force from 08:00hrs on Monday 3 June 2013 for a period of 4 weeks.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE For North Westbound vehicles – From the South eastern side of the closure proceed in a south easterly direction along the C1027 for approximately 3km to its junction with the C1026. Turn left onto the C1026 and proceed in a north westerly direction for approximately 4km to its junction with the A69. Turn left onto the A69 and proceed in a south westerly direction to its junction with the C1027. Turn left onto C1027 and proceed in a south easterly direction to the the northwest side of the closure.

For South Eastbound vehicles Travel the reverse direction to the above.

A way for pedestrian and dismounted cyclists will be maintained through the closure.
