If 4 or less ponies entered, only 1st prize money will be given. Prize money must be collected from the secretaries on the day of the show. No prize money will be awarded after the show date.

Royal International Horse Show Qualifiers. These will be judged under the Sport Horse Breeding of Great Britain Society’s Rules. Classes 69 to 74 are qualifying events for the 2015 RIHS and only horses registered on the Show Hunter Register are eligible to enter. Registration numbers must be quoted on entry forms and owners and riders must be members of the Society. The two highest placed horses in classes 60-63 will qualify to enter at the RIHS. In Class 64 the two highest placed smalls and the two highest paced lightweights will qualify and in Class 65 the two highest placed middleweights and the two highest placed heavyweights will qualify. No horse lower than second in its class will qualify. Any rule changes will be available to view on www.sportshorsegb.co.uk

Held under the rules of the British Show Horse Association. Horses must be registered with the Association and all Owners, Exhibitors and Riders must be Association Members. Riders must be 15 years of age or older. Registration numbers must be quoted on entry form. No entry will be accepted unless accompanied by the Registration Numbers.

Classes 67-73 are qualifiers for The Royal International Horse Show. The first prize winner will qualify to compete at the final. If already qualified the second will qualify, if the first and second are already qualified then the third will go forward. Horse competing at the RIHS and qualifying shows in Hunter sections of the Sport Horse Breeding of Great Britain at their Affiliated Shows cannot compete in Hack, Cobs and Riding Horse classes at the same show, on the same day and vice versa. This does not apply to SHB (GB) Ridden Sport Horse Classes.

The three highest placed prize winners in all Open Affiliated classes will qualify to compete in the BSHA Classic Supreme Classes at the National Championship Show September 2016. The BSHA offer a Novice, Young Rider and Amateur rosette in each Open class and Champion rosette for each section (with the exception of Open Working Show Horse & HOYS Hunter Classes).

Riding Horses. A Riding Horse is between a Hack and a Hunter. It should have quality, substance, good bone, correct conformation, presence and true action. Horses may not be registered as Riding Horses if they have been placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in any ridden Hunter class at Royal International Horse Show or the Horse of the Year Show in the current or previous year.

ROYAL INTERNATIONAL COBS Cobs. The cob is a type rather than a breed. A short- legged animal, with bone,substance and quality, capable of carrying a substantial weight. The Cob should be well mannered and ideal for nervous or elderly riders. Cobs should have sensible heads (sometimes roman nosed), a full generous eye, shapely neck, well muscled, with a hogged mane and well defined wither. The Cob should also have clean, strong hocks and all the attributes of a good hunter, low movement and a comfortable ride.

ROYAL INTERNATIONAL HACKS Hacks. The ideal show hack is of thoroughbred type and should be capable of carrying an average adult. The hack must be a pleasure to ride and have excellent manners. The Hack should be in self-carriage and be light and soft to ride, it should also have correct conformation with the emphasis on quality and elegance. The latter stems from a well set on head and neck combined with a good length of shoulder. The movement should be smooth and graceful with a true pointing of the toe. To achieve these qualities the Hack must be extremely well schooled.

It is a condition of entry that each exhibitor or competitor shall indemnify the organizers and hold them harmless against such matters aforesaid. Health and safety: This show is run with due regard to health and safety. We request that all exhibitors and members of the public comply with any request, written or verbal, from show officials which pertain to these regulations in their own best interest. Regulations with regard to the riding of horses and ponies, and the use of motorized vehicles will be strictly enforced in the interests of all concerned.

Royal International Horse Show. This show is a qualifier for the RIHS. Ponies must be owned, registered and ridden by BSPS members to compete except for Anglo and PB Arabs who must be registered with the AHS. The highest placed pony (not already qualified) from the first three ponies placed in each class will qualify. Owners must be Annual Members /Riders must be current P(UK) Annual/Senior/Junior Riders Club Members and the Ponies currently registered with P(UK) before time of entry in order to compete in these classes Open to Mountain and Moorland Ridden Stallion (Intermediate class only), Mare or Gelding, 4 years old and over. Registered in their approved Pure Breed Society Stud Books of Connemara, Dartmoor, Dales, Exmoor, Fells, Highland, New Forest, Shetland, Welsh A, B, C or D.

BSPS Premier League. This show is a qualifier for the BSPS Premier League at the BSPS Summer Championship Show. The first, second, third and fourth placed ponies in the following classes will qualify 1, 9-12, 17-19, 27-28, 77-78 BSPS Classic Security UK Ltd Challenge. This show is a qualifier for the BSPS Challenge. The highest placed pony that has not qualified for the 2016 Horse of the Year Show in the appropriate class will qualify. If the highest placed pony has already qualified the qualification will be awarded to the next eligible pony. BSPS Championships. This show is a qualifier for the 2016 BSPS Championship show to be held at Arena UK, Grantham. The first and second prize winners in classes 3-5, 6, 17-19, 21-24, 27-28, 30-31, will qualify. The first, second and third prize winners in classes 7, 9-12, 25-26, 40-44, 74-78 will qualify. The first, second, third and fourth prize winners in classes 1 and 20 will qualify, provided the animal is registered in accordance with rules 23 and 28 and is ridden by a BSPS member. The 1st prize winners from the Heritage Open classes will qualify for the BSPS “Industrial Salt Supplies” WOW Factor (Winner of Winners).

BSPS Black Country Saddles Best Rider. The Best Rider in each of the following classes will be awarded the Best Rider Card and will qualify for the final at the Summer Championship Show.: Open Lead Rein, Open First Ridden, Open 128cms, 138cms and 148cms Show Pony, Open Lead Rein of Hunter Type, Open 122cms, 133cms, 143cms, and 153cms Show Hunter Ponies, Open Cradle and Nursery, Open 133cms, 143cms, and 153cms Working Hunter Ponies, Open Intermediate SRT, SH and WH, Open heritage lead and First Ridden, Open Heritage Ridden and WHP classes to riders who have not attained their 25th birthday before 1st January in the current year.

In the Novice classes the 1st., 2nd. and 3rd. placed animals will qualify. Riders on Restricted animals MUST wear an armband when they enter the ring. In Mixed Height Novice classes the 1st. 2nd. 3rd. and 4th. placed ponies will qualify.

BSPA ROYAL INTERNATIONAL HORSE SHOW QUALIFIERS These classes are affiliated to the British Skewbald and Piebald Association and are qualifers for the Royal International Horse Show, Hickstead Tuesday 26th July 2016. Classes will be judged under BSPS Rules download from www.bspaonline.com. All

22 23 horses/ponies must be registered and all owners and riders BSPA members PRIOR to the show. Rider Age taken from 1st January. Membership and qualification cards must be carried in the ring by competitors and produced as required for inspection or signature. Failure to do so will man disqualification. Spurs may not be worn in any pony class. Ponies 153cm or under (shetlands exempt), must possess a current JMB height certificate. All stallions must be graded with the BSPA and in possession of a BSPA Stallion ID card which must be carried at all times and produced on request. All stallions must wear a BSPA Stallion disc. No rider under 14 may exhibit a stallion in any BSPA class. BSPA Qualification: 1st place and the next unqualified competitor standing 2nd or 3rd qualify from each class. Olympia Showing Series The Olympia Senior Showing Series First Round Qualifiers are open to both Members & Non Members of the Senior Showing & Dressage Ltd. Please note all competitors should acquaint themselves with the rules of the SSAD Ltd. They can be found at www.seniorshowinganddressage.co.uk Qualification cards will be handed out in the ring at the time of presentation. COMPETITORS ONLY NEED ONE QUALIFICATION CARD = IN HAND CLASSES ONE QUALIFICATION CARD = FOR RIDDEN CLASSES IF ALREADY QUALIFIED THIS CARD MUST BE HANDED DOWN THE LINE. NEXT STAGE SECOND ROUND QUALFIERS – You can only compete the Olympia Second Round Qualifiers if you are fully paid member and your animal is registered with SSAD Ltd and holding the 2016 member/registration card. Once you have qualified at a First Round Qualifier and you have received an Acceptance card, only then may you compete in the Second Round Qualifier . The Second Round Champions will go on to compete at the SSAD Ltd Championship Supreme Final at the London International Horse Show at Olympia in December 2016

Equifest Qualifiers: This show is affliated to Equifest, taking place at the East of England Showground on the 17th-21st August 2016 The two highest placed exhibits not already qualified will qualify for the relevant Equifest Championship

Every effort has been made to ensure that classes do not clash. If however they do, classes will not be held up and no refund will be given. No lorries/trailers to be mucked out on the show ground. Bags of muck should be taken home.
