OUTSTANDING STUDENT LEADER

Nomination Form and Guidelines 2006-2007

Student Leadership Development & Service-Learning is accepting nominations for Outstanding Student Leader. The awards offered through out Spring Leadership Awards Program recognize individual involvement in the campus and local community that is characterized by care and respect for the dignity of others and the fostering of cooperation between individuals and organizations. Such involvement will demonstrate the ability to inspire others to act as productive community members. Involvement from an individual can be reflected in traditional and non-traditional activities.

Nominations may be made by student, faculty, and staff.

Applications for this award will be reviewed with regards to the criteria listed below: 1. Exhibits leadership skills and strong ability to work effectively within a team 2. Possesses a commitment to cooperation and collaboration 3. Serves as a role model to his/her peers

The award recipients will be recognized at the Spring Leadership Award Ceremony on Sunday, May 6, 2007 in the Centennial Student Union in 253-5 at 5:00 P.M. The nominees and two quests they wish to invite will receive invitations to this event.

Applicants and nominees must complete the attached form and return it to the Student Leadership Development & Service-Learning (CSU 173) by 5 p.m., Monday, April 23, 2007.
