Team Check-In: **Friday, Team Check-In will be located at the Spectator Entrance of your first performance area.** Saturday, Team check-in should be accessed through lobby of Cougar Place entrance to TDECU Stadium. (South side of Stadium).

Team Admission: Dance Team members (which include: dancers, escorts, and managers), registered Directors and Assistants, will be given wrist bands and permitted to enter free of charge at the team check-in area. Escorts and managers must wear official uniform and must be present when team registers. Each team competing in team events will receive 3 complimentary passes available for pick-up at Team Check-in.

Bus Information: After dropping off all passengers, buses should park in the designated bus parking area in Lot 12A. Signs will aid in directing busses. Bus Parking is $30 per bus on Saturday.

Spectator Admissions, Entrances and Parking:

Spectator Admission: 2 Day Pass $20.00 Adults (good for Friday and Saturday) 2 day pass only offered to adults.

Saturday $15.00 Adults / $10.00 Senior Citizens / $5.00 Children (ages 5-12) / Children under 5 are free.

Spectator Entrances: Performance Area 1: Hofheinz Basketball Arena: Entrance off of Holman Street. Performance Area 2: Band Hall: TDECU Stadium Gate 1, band hall will be entered off of stadium concourse.

Parking Information: Spectators must park in the Stadium Parking Garage, Access via Holman Dr. and Visitor entrance. Garage Parking will be $10 for Saturday, Friday is free. Parking is prohibited at other U of H lots. Towing is enforced at all times. Bus parking is $30 per pus, therefore buses are advised to drop off and return to school or hotel locations.

Prop Information: Props may be unloaded and stored along the loading dock outside Hofheinz Pavilion (accessed by Cullen Blvd entrance to lot 15A) (approx. 10 ft. height clearance). For Band Hall Props, load through exterior band hall doors on east side of stadium. Email [email protected] for further assistance. Please ensure that props are adequately padded so that the performance floor is not scratched or damaged.

Concessions: Available on site. (see separate attachment posted near event date) Absolutely No food or drinks may be brought in from outside the building.

National Showcase Performance Area Information

Performance Area I: Performance Area: The Hofheinz Pavilion Sound Area: Back left corner of gym. (judge’s perspective) Music drop-off: Director or head officer will need to drop off at sound table prior to performance. Judges Area: Near the top row and center of bleachers, lower deck. Performers Entrance: Left Side of Hofheinz, through Garrison Gym Glass Doors Entrance/Exit: Left Side of gym. (judge’s perspective) Prop Entrance: Left side of gym (judge’s perspective) Floor Surface: Wood floor / regulation basketball and volleyball markings. Results: Awards ceremony will follow solo finals. Evaluation packets will be available for pick up following the awards ceremony at the Hoffeinz concessions table.

(judge’s perspective) Music drop-off: Director or head officer will need to drop off at sound table prior to performance. Judges Area: On floor in center between sections of seating in Hall. Performers Entrance: The TDECU Stadium (glass doors to left of ticket center Entrance/Exit floor Left side of Hall. (judge’s perspective) Floor Surface: Smooth Linoleum Floor or Marley Floor Solo Finals: Will be announced in alphabetical performance order shortly after the last solo performance. You will have 10 min. to prepare for finals, which will be held in Main Arena. Results: Awards ceremony will follow solo finals. Evaluation packets will be available for pick up following the awards ceremony.
