Mandatory attendance at retreat day. 5. Interview with the pastor or one of the parish staff members 6. Confirmation practice & celebration  I will choose an appropriate sponsor.  I will complete the Christian Life and Service requirements (“Less Talk / More Walk”) in my parish and community.  I will pray regularly and show love for others.  I will assume more responsibility in my family, my parish and my community. I desire to be confirmed and to continue living life as a Catholic. I ask the help of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, as well as my family, sponsor, and friends.

Recognizing that my involvement as a parent is of special importance in helping prepare my child to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation…

I promise to see that my child attends:  Mass on Sundays and Holy Days and to accompany my child to Mass whenever possible.  All catechetical sessions through enrollment in a Catholic School or the Parish School of Religion (PSR).  Required Candidate/Sponsor and Candidate Sessions.  the Enrollment Ceremony.  the Confirmation retreats.  the interview with the pastor or one of the parish staff members.  Confirmation practice.  celebration of Confirmation.
