Pre-Installation

1) Carefully read and follow instructions, to ensure optimal installation and performance. 2) Thoroughly wash & wax vehicle surfaces, including inside wheel wells and under front bumper, to prevent entrapment of moisture and/or debris between paint finish and SpeedLingerieTM. 3) Place vehicle and unfolded SpeedLingerieTM in direct sunlight, or near (but not in direct contact with) any radiant heat source for at least 30 minutes to make it more flexible and easier to install. 4) Orient yourself with SpeedLingerieTM. Notice placement of two (2) insert strips on bottom edge of SpeedLingerieTM; these have been pre-cut for installment between front spoiler and body of vehicle. 5) To loosen vehicle spoiler lip for proper insertion of two (2) insert strips, partially unscrew two (2) pairs of screws underneath and at each end of spoiler lip. NOTE! It is only necessary to “back off” screws 1 full turn. 6) For easier access to inner wheel-wells, turn steering wheel completely to driver side.

SpeedLingerie TM Installation

1) Facing the vehicle, hold properly oriented SpeedLingerieTM outstretched in front of you. Drape SpeedLingerieTM over nose of vehicle and loosely place duct inserts into ducts. 2) Aligning bottom edge insert strip cut-outs with loosened screws carefully slip each insert strip between spoiler and body of vehicle. NOTE! Do NOT yet tighten spoiler screws; see Step 9. 3) At passenger side, use both hands to firmly “work” QuiKlipTM slightly apart, to prepare it for application to wheel-well edge. Enfold 5-inch black quick-release strap within QuiKlipTM. This ensures easy removal of SpeedLingerieTM. Do not pull on this strap during installation. 4) Apply top portion of QuiKlipTM to wheel-well edge (10 o’clock position). Firmly press remainder into place with both hands. 5) Turn steering wheel completely to passenger side. 6) NOTE! Due to perfectly tailored fit of SpeedLingerieTM, step #6 takes careful effort. Acquire assistance, to provide “slack” from front-end midpoint. Do not pull on QuiKlip /stitching itself. Do not pull from top edge. Installation becomes easier with repeated use. 7) Working from passenger side across, carefully but firmly stretch SpeedLingerieTM towards driver side. Gather 6-8” of material at QuiKlipTM in your hands. Slowly and firmly stretch from midpoint (side marker level) and lower corner (spoiler level); you may need to repeat this several times for the material to “give and stretch”. Repeat step #3 & 4 and fasten QuiKlipTM on driver side. 8) Within duct, locate protruding edges at back of duct with your fingers. These are points of attachment for QuiKlipTM. Reaching into duct, grip top of duct edge with your fingers and palm of your hand. Stretch duct insert into duct, grip duct edge with your fingers and attach QuiKlipTM onto edge. Repeat at lower and side edges of duct, making sure to fully attach all QuiKlipsTM. Repeat at other duct. 9) Tighten spoiler lip screws, using a Phillips-head screwdriver. 10) Locate elastic cord at top of SpeedLingerieTM. Carefully stretch cord into driver side wheel well, and secure curved clip to inner grill openings within wheel-well(s). 11) Turn steering wheel to driver side, and repeat Step 10 on passenger side.

Mirror Cover Installation– optional accessory

1) Lower/open windows. 2) Unzip and unlatch zipper. NOTE! Take care to not contact zipper with paint surface. Enjoy the opportunity to work with your car and take your time. 3) Stretch out Mirror Cover tension cord. Slip Mirror Cover over mirror head. Guide the mirror head completely through the Mirror Cover. NOTE! Do not yet put the “head” part of the Mirror Cover ON mirror head. The Mirror Cover should be hanging on mirror neck by tension cord. 4) Latch zipper. Zip approximately 4-5 inches, adjusting as you go. Carefully run pull-tab under tension cord. 5) Continue zipping. Slide the Mirror Cover (on mirror neck) towards car door. Continue zipping until closed. 6) Carefully tuck the zipper (with felt backing against paint surface) under the Mirror Cover. 7) Slide the Mirror Cover (on mirror neck) away from the door. Slip the outer edge of the Mirror Cover onto the mirror head. Now slide the Mirror Cover (on mirror neck) back towards the door into the final position. 8) Form and work mirror cover into place with both hands.

Final Adjustment

1) Adjust SpeedLingerieTM where necessary, to assure proper fit. 2) For full effect of SpeedLingerieTM design and glove-like fit, allow 72 hours for material(s) to relax and conform to vehicle’s curves. 3) Park in a warm sunny spot with SpeedLingerieTM on for a few days, to help the process. 4) Apply a quality vinyl conditioner to SpeedLingerieTM if you so desire.

Care & Maintenance

1) For best results, be sure that vehicle surfaces are clean and dry before installing SpeedLingerieTM. 2) Always inspect SpeedLingerieTM fasteners & surfaces that contact vehicle for possible debris, sand, grit, etc...and remove before installation. 3) Periodically remove SpeedLingerieTM to allow complete aeration of vehicle paint finish and SpeedLingerieTM materials. 4) Remove SpeedLingerieTM before washing vehicle. 5) Remove SpeedLingerieTM after exposure to rain or other moisture/fluids. 6) Clean outer vinyl surfaces of SpeedLingerieTM with a high quality vinyl conditioner during routine car maintenance. 7) Clean felt inner surface with water if necessary, allowing it to dry completely, and brush/vacuum out any remaining particles. 8) Rubber will stain vinyl. Do not store SpeedLingerieTM in direct contact with rubber products (tires, hoses, mats, etc).
