GRADE ONE - MRS. LEMIEUX 2017-2018 SUPPLY LIST

** Please note that the following supply items do not have to be new. If your have access to similar used items, please encourage your child to use them.

1 2“ 3-ring Binder (hard cover, with inside pockets in front and back) 1 pkg. of reinforcers (for the holes in loose leaf or notebook paper) 6 Binder dividers 1 Primary Hilroy ½ plain, ½ dotted interlined notebook (9” x 7”) (#12155) 2 Primary Hilroy dotted interlined notebooks (9” x 7”)(#12152) 3 Duo-tangs (with centre metal tabs on inside, no pockets) 2 Inside pocketed duo-tang folders (no centre metal tabs on inside) 1 plastic supply box (5” x 8”) 1 large box of wax crayons (24 only in package) 1 small package (8 only) wide washable markers 1 fun activity or coloring book (for indoor recess) 1 pair of running shoes to be left at school for inside use and Phys. Ed. (non-marking soles)

Please label the above items with your child’s name. It is important to put your child’s name on every article including markers and crayons. This includes each article of clothing (boots, mitts, etc.) This is very important and can save a great deal of time and frustration.

The items listed below are for group use and do not need labels: 10 HB lead pencils, wooden (sharpened) (more when needed) 1 pack of self-stick notes (3” x 3”) 2 large boxes of Kleenex (more when needed) 1 box of large Zip-loc bags (boys only) 1 box of medium Zip-loc bags (girls only) 4 large white erasers 2 large glue sticks 4 wide-tipped highlighters (different colors) 1 pair of sharp scissors

Your child will keep only minimal supplies at his/her desk. Each child’s extra supplies will be stored by the teacher and given out only as needed.

PLEASE SEND ALL SUPPLIES ON THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL.
