Speaking of Phil Clark, his daughter Holly has written a book. It is actually Part One, the book kept getting put off for personal reasons, so her son talked her into putting out the first part and going ahead and working on the second installment. It is titled “The Man Behind the Pony Series, Finding My Father”, by Holly Clark. She will have it for sale at the Phil Clark Stampede in Rusk.

KID OF PONYMAKER’S BOOK

Holly Clark grew up with very few memories of her father, Phil Clark. She has spent her life searching and finding out about him, trying to get to know him better, as he passed away when she was a small girl. The family didn’t talk much about him and his life. Holly’s 1 COBRA FINDS A NEW HOME September after a tragic accident. Her mom decided she needed this car.

She has a Mineral Grey Mustang GT 5 speed for sale. The car looks to be in great shape. It is parked in front of Traditions.

2006 RAFFLE CAR

At the end of the East Texas Crisis Center Auto Show a brand new Raffle Car was unveiled!! This year Tyler Ford had donated a 2006 Mustang Convertible, brand new!! Very nice! No tickets available yet, but I will get with Carrie and we will get some. Last year’s 2005 Coupe sold record numbers of tickets, a convertible should sell even more!! Everybody needs to help out, with a donated car every penny goes directly to the East Texas Crisis Center and their operations there.

She’s gone! But to a great home! I would like to wish the following people a Happy Birthday for the month of June: Maranatha Lee is a friend of Chad’s (no sale if Chad 1 Ira Groom drives!) This meeting may go down in the books as the meeting with the lowest attendance with only 10 people there. Jim Ellis joined us with his ’70 Boss 302.

David attended the Fun Ford Weekend in Houston, Craig attended the Pate Swap Meet. While there he found a 42 intake for Jerry’s Tiger.

Upcoming events discussed: 1st Thursday is Cruise night at the Sonic on Hwy 155. May 12 in Rusk there will be the Import vs Domestic Shootout at 6 PM at the race track. June 3 in Lindale will be a show benefiting the Children’s Miracle Network. June 8-11 several from our club will be going to Tulsa. July 1st – The Phil Clark Stampede will be in Rusk. His daughter, Holly Clark will have a book out soon. Several from the United Stangs group plan to attend. Labor Day weekend event is the Grand National Road Race Course in Birmingham, Alabama.
