STATUS OF AIRCRAFT

Aircraft was removed from lease and service from the NE AIRLINES AOC on 8/15/2004.

Aircraft went through an A / B checks in Tucson, AZ JUL 2003 and A check in MAR 2004 including “Return To Service Check” All fuel pumps upgraded (per A/D) and aircraft received new interior & new paint. Latest Checks to include an and “A” Check and RTS (Return to Service) are in progress at Dallas, Texas (Dalfort) and are scheduled to be completed on our AUG 2004.

 TCAS 7.0 Software Revision and Modification

Collins TPR-920 Processor and the TTR-720 ATC Transponder MOD 7 upgraded at OEM.

 COMMUNICATION and NAVIGATION UPGRADES

To meet JAA-1 European Standards & RVSM requirements, the following are accomplished: Replacement of VHF Communications Transceivers with 8.33mhz spacing 618M-4A. Replacement of ILS Navigation Receivers with ILS-700. Replacement of VOR Navigation Receivers with 51RV-5B. Installation of (1) Trimble TNL-2101 GPS / RNAV-A Navigation Unit (in progress).

Supplemental Data

The interior configuration has been changed from 3 class (TWA) to accommodate 28C/272Y passengers during the Return to Service and B-1 Check at Hamilton Aerospace Technologies in Tucson, Arizona.

Aircraft was returned from Lease by NE AIRLINES (Pty) Ltd and deregistered from Swaziland to Gambia as C5-WAL and the airline (WAL) never took delivery of the aircraft as the company was unable to commence operations.

Now the aircraft is being transferred to registry 9Q-TSC in Dem. Republic of The Congo and is under an operating contract with LAC (Lingnes Aerienne Congolaise – LAC).
