Partnering with the Mother’s Day Classic offers you the opportunity to associate your brand with Australia’s largest breast cancer fundraising walk/run event, it’s an opportunity to engage with consumers, drive sales and to promote positive brand recognition. WHO ARE WE?

The Mother’s Day Classic - walk/run for breast cancer research - was established in 1998 by Women in Super, a national network of women who work in the superannuation and finance industries. Its purpose is to raise money for breast cancer research, to increase awareness of breast cancer within the community and to support and remember those affected by breast cancer.

On Mother’s Day across the country, families, teams, men and women come together to walk or run for breast cancer research and to show their respect for those affected by breast cancer, contributing to the lasting impact the Mother’s Day Classic has had on breast cancer research in Australia.

The event is all about participation – it doesn’t matter if you walk or run, it just matters why! Participants vary in age and fitness ability, many choose to walk with generations of their families, others with a group of friends and some to achieve PBs. The Mother’s Day Classic walk/run event is held in all capital cities and over 80 regional/metropolitan locations across Australia. More than 100,000 family and friends come together on Mother’s Day to participate, celebrate, raise funds and pay tribute to those effected by breast cancer.

Since the Mother’s Day Classic was founded back in 1998 we’ve raised $30.4 million towards National Breast Cancer Foundation in supporting them with funding towards high quality breast cancer research projects here in Australia.
