Job Purpose: To provide midwife managed care across Skye and Lochalsh and to contribute to the overall strategy of midwifery care within NHS Highland, working collaboratively with women and families, obstetricians, midwives and professionals allied to care in this field.
To carry continuing professional responsibility as an autonomous practitioner for a midwifery caseload in a designated caseload in a designated location
To deputise for the lead midwife as required
