Andersonville National Historic Site Wreath Laying Ceremony September 19, 2015 10:00 am

To allow for more groups to honor their ancestors, we have created a special ceremony for re-enactment groups, community groups and others. Interested groups are asked to bring a live, floral wreath (no silk or plastic) to Andersonville National Historic Site on September 19, 2015. Re-enactors may choose to dress according to their groups, but no weapons should be present.

This service will take place Saturday morning, and all participants should be at the National Prisoner of War Museum by 9:45 am. These wreaths will be placed at the historic prison site, near the museum tent stage.
