Sniffy Homework Assignments

The following chapter numbers and exercises are based on the Sniffy Lite 2nd Edition Manual. Please see me if you are using the Sniffy Lite 1st Edition (old manual) – the chapters were reorganized in the new edition.

You should have already read Chapter 1 and installed the software before beginning these exercises. Please see me if you had any problems doing this.

Read Chapters 2 & 3 and do Exercises 1-3 as described in the manual.

Read Chapters 4 & 5 and do Exercises 4-9 as described in the manual.

Read Chapter 6 and do Exercises 10-15 as described in the manual.

What to turn in:

You may turn in your Sniffy homework in any of the following ways:

1. Printed output. For most exercises, the change in Sniffy’s behavior will be reflected by changes in the record of behavior and in the other measures. To demonstrate these changes, you can print out those measures and the record of Sniffy’s behavior. To do this, open the window, click on it, then select Print from the File menu at the top of the Sniffy screen.

2. Disk output. You can save your Sniffy exercises to a disk or CD and turn in the disk or CD. If you do this, please label each saved file with the Exercise number and be sure your name is on the disk or CD.

3. E-mailed files. You can email your files to me at the email address listed on your syllabus. Again, please save each file with the Exercise number as part of the file name. Put each exercise in a separate file. Then send the files as an attachment to an email message. Please make sure your name is in the email, especially if your name is different than your email account name.

Please see me if you have difficulty with any of these methods of turning in homework. It is your responsibility to see me before the assignment is due, not at the last minute.
